Things overheard at the Kaufman home this week

Katie: "Hey Mom, I got a letter in the mail asking me to adopt a cute little kitten named Marshmallow"

Kelly: "Yeah right!"

Katie: "But Mom, out of everyone they TRUST me to take care of this kitty"

Kelly: "I am allergic to cats!"

Katie: "I didn't tell you the worst thing (now with tears in her eyes).... he only has ONE eye. I think he needs me."

We are not getting a cat!!!!!

Things heard around the Kaufman home this a.m......

Kelly: "Katie, did you and Hawkeye have a party last night after I fell asleep??"

Katie to Kelly: "Yes, we had pretzels and watched TV. But it was Hawkeye's fault he made me do it!"

Katie to Hawkeye: "I'll take the blame next time, Hawkeye"
